2018 Marketeer Awards


The Pestana Hotel Group was voted as the Best Tourism Brand at the 10th Edition of the Marketeer Awards (Prémios Marketeer). The event gave awards to the brands with the most votes, by recognising the work they had done in 2017. Over 900 people were in attendance at the ceremony held at the Convent of Beato in Lisbon.

Luís Monteiro, Director of the Pestana Hotel Group said, “This is an award that largely reflects the way we conduct our Marketing in the Pestana Hotel Group, in a way that is integrated, emotional and team-centred. As the largest multinational Portuguese hotel chain, we are going to continue positioning ourselves as a leading brand of excellence in the Tourism sector”.

At this year’s event, 35 awards were given out, 32 of which were chosen with the help of Marketeer’s readers in a voting process that lasted almost 2 months, and three others were awarded directly.
