\u00a0<\/strong>Lisbon (1st June 2023) – <\/strong>Newsweek has just announced its annual ranking of the Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces\u00ae, the list of the 100 most attractive companies to work for in the world. In this worldwide list, Pestana Hotel Group reached the sixth position. This 2023 edition of the Newsweek ranking is the most recent list drawn up by the prestigious American publication and the Best Practice Institute, an entity linked to leadership development, executive coaching, and studies in the area of Human Resources.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>The results were based on the survey of more than 2 million employees of companies with teams of between 30 and more than 10 thousand people. The list recognizes companies whose business model meets the respect, appreciation, and care of its employees, and whose procedures are deserving of the loyalty and respect of its people.<\/p>\n

The evaluation of employees’ feelings consisted of analyzing their feelings of career fulfillment, how positive they felt about their future at the company, alignment of their values with those of their employer, respect at all hierarchical levels, and the degree of collaboration within the company. Beyond these five areas, inclusion, diversity, fairness, sense of belonging, career development, and company leadership are on the analysis table.<\/p>\n

Methodology<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

To identify the top 100 companies for the Newsweek ranking, companies were evaluated and scored as follows: 35 percent of the initial score was based on responses to BPI’s proprietary Love of Workplace survey. Another 25 percent was derived from analysis of external public ratings from sites such as Comparably, Careerbliss, Glassdoor, Indeed and Google. The final 40 percent came from direct interviews with and written responses from company officials. Newsweek then conducted additional research into every company on the list, as well as the top runners-up, to determine the final list of 100 companies and their rankings.<\/p>\n
